Regional Councils
The Full Council is also divided into seven Regional Councils. These meetings are held in various places within their regions and are normally open to all Aboriginal people in the region, however the right to vote and hold elected office is reserved for members.

Regional Council meetings are held four times a year. They have delegated responsibility for decisions over local issues, such as short term land use agreements, and make recommendations to the Full Council.

Women's Committee
The Women's Committee consists of those women elected to the Full Council plus another five co-opted women councillors. This committee plays an increasingly important role in making sure that women are actively involved in land council business.
