Learning on Country Project Officer (N54) - Fixed Term Contract until 30 April 2021
The Learning on Country Project Officer will work in partnership with the management team, the Steering Committee and with local sites to deliver a number of priority projects, including program and process evaluation, development of a communication strategy and program prospectus, and the establishment of reliable, effective and sustainable training partnerships for LOC participants.
Wardaman Indigenous Protected Area Coordinator (N49) - 3 Year Contract
This Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) Coordinator role will work closely with the Wardaman IPA Aboriginal Corporation, Traditional Owners and other stakeholders, including the day to day supervision of Ranger teams and supporting of women and youth engagement activities, to facilitate the implementation of the Wardaman IPA Management Plan.
Ranger Group Development Officer (N62) - 12 Month Contract (with possibility of extension)
This role involves working with Seafarms, Native Title Holders and other partners to complete the planning and establishment phase of the project and the development of a permanent Indigenous ranger group. The position is located in Kununurra with substantial periods operating in and around the proposed Seafarms site and adjacent areas.
Environmental Policy Officer – Policy & Stakeholder Engagement (DS09) - Continuous Contract
A primary focus of the Environmental Policy Officer position is to carry out research, develop policies, position papers and reports, and liaise and maintain effective networks with relevant agencies and government departments in relation to environmental and other policy matters affecting the Northern Land Council and its constituents.
Research & Policy Officer – Policy & Stakeholder Engagement (DS08) - Continuous Contract
A primary focus of the Research & Policy Officer position is to carry out research, develop policies, position papers and reports, and liaise with relevant agencies and government departments relating to policy matters affecting the Northern Land Council and its constituents.
Mardbalk Ranger Group Coordinator (NT87) - Fixed Term Contract Until 30 June 2021
This position is responsible for coordinating the Mardbalk Ranger Group and for working with Aboriginal land and sea owners and managers across multiple islands and sea country as well as mainland areas, to maximise their participation in all Caring for Country activities.
