Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer (3 year contract)

Salary: SPO $87,956 - $98,685 pa + allowances

The Executive Assistant to the CEO is responsible for managing the CEO's office and commitments, by providing high level administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and Chairman.

This includes the ability to assist the CEO and Chairman with urgent matters, out of normal hours, if required. This position is responsible for ensuring that the CEO is adequately equipped to drive the organisation to meet its strategic and corporate objectives.  

The successful applicant will have extensive experience working in a similar role and excellent computer literacy, time and project management, organisational and problem solving skills.

 Applicants require strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with Aboriginal people and a broad range of stakeholders. A commitment to high personal work standards and the delivery of client focused services is essential, as is the ability to use sound judgement and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and society and the issues affecting Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory, and a working knowledge and understanding of the functions of the NLC.
