Regional Coordinator, Ngukurr (R50) - Contract Term 3 years

Salary: SOGC $87,960 - $96,377 pa + entitlements

NLC is seeking an experienced Regional Coordinator to join our Regional Development Branch (South).  This Regional Coordinator position is responsible for the effective implementation and on-going management of NLC projects and programs in the greater Ngukurr Region, including the direct coordination of project officers and support staff working within the region and office.

The successful applicant will possess leadership experience in successfully implementing projects and programs, with the ability to strategically harness resources to effectively plan, coordinate and manage activities, whilst establishing and balancing competing work priorities.  

Applicants should be experienced in financial management, the use of IT resources and systems and the application of HR and WHS workplace practices in a field-based operation. You will possess change management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and maintain appropriate confidentiality. 

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively liaise, engage and manage a multi-disciplinary team in a diverse and complex work environment, and to build and foster productive working relationships with work colleagues, constituents and external stakeholders. 

Cross-cultural competency with the ability to effectively communicate with Aboriginal people is required, as is possession of a current Northern Territory Driver’s licence and a willingness to travel to and within remote areas.
