Salary: SOGB $98,685 - $114,676 pa + entitlements

NLC is seeking an experienced manager to join our Regional Development Branch (South).  The Regional Manager position will be responsible for supporting the strategic objectives of the NLC through the effective management of multi-disciplinary projects and programs in the greater Borroloola Barkly Region, including the ongoing management of staff within both the Tennant Creek and Borroloola Regional Offices.

The successful applicant will possess high-level leadership and management experience in successfully implementing projects and programs, with the ability to strategically harness resources to effectively plan, coordinate and manage activities, whilst balancing competing priorities. 

You will be expected to be experienced in financial management and HR workplace practices in a field-based operation, and possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality. 

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively liaise, engage and manage a multi-disciplinary team in a diverse and complex work environment, and to build and foster productive working relationships with work colleagues, constituents and external stakeholders. 

Tertiary qualifications in either project management or community development, and/or extensive multi-disciplinary industry experience consulting and working with Aboriginal communities on cultural, land and resource management activities and projects, are desirable. 

Possession of a current Northern Territory Driver’s licence and a willingness to travel to
and within remote areas is required.
