The NLC would like to inform the public that the Humpty Doo Police and the Wagait Shire Council are advising all non-residents of Wagait Beach and Belyuen communities to stay away from the Cox Peninsula area over Easter.

Humpty Doo Police have advised that police patrols will be taking place throughout this period and they will be encouraging campers and visitors to leave.

The NT Government has indicated that non-urgent travel should be avoided at this time. It is strongly suggested that people stay at home over Easter.

We hope you have an enjoyable and relaxing Easter at home.
