Women's Ranger Strategy 2026- 2030

July 28, 2026

Women rangers are central to the long-term strength and sustainability of the Northern Land Council's (NLC) Caring for country program.

This strategy applies to Aboriginal women rangers working within NLC-supported ranger groups across the NLC region.  It builds on decades of advocacy by Aboriginal women for recognition of their cultural authority and equitable opportunities in ranger work.
